Every five years the Reedsburg Public Library develops a strategic plan to meet the community’s emerging library needs. This year the library seeks community input through a short survey available through Feb. 5, 2021.

Coronavirus vaccines offered to Sauk County residents 65 and older

A large demographic in Sauk County is now eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

On Monday, the shots were rolled out for residents 65 and older. According to the Sauk County Health Department, this constitutes a significant portion of the population: Around 12,000 people.

Cazenovia man marks 40 years with American Legion

Three officers from the Cazenovia American Legion Post 491 visited Major Robert N. Smith, retired, on Dec. 30 to recognize Smith for 40 years of membership. Normally the award would be presented during Weston’s Veterans Day ceremony but those events were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The next mobile food pantry will begin at 4 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Sacred Heart School parking lot on North Willow Street.

Blood drive scheduled Jan. 22

A Reedsburg Community Blood Drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Voyageur Inn.

All donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.

Reedsburg Public Library resumed youth services programming last week with a new session of Multilingual Mondays as well as other favorite programs for preschoolers, school age children, teens and families, all offered via a virtual format. The current session runs through Feb. 26.
