This year Reedsburg Public Library staff members have compiled a list of what they believe to have been the most popular titles of 2020 based on their observations of library checkouts and customer requests.

I was in my backyard, snapping photos of small birds and squirrels, when the feathered creature appeared overhead. As it grew closer, I could see it had something in its feet. Perhaps a bit of wire or fishing line?

RAMC groups donate to those in need

Team Reedsburg Area Medical Center members raised and donated $912 and gave a truckload of non-perishable food to the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry. RAMC is planning a 12 Days of Giving event where team members give back.

On Dec. 8, members of Thurber-Greenwood VFW Post 1916 donated $500 to the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry. The Auxiliary also donated $500 to the pantry.

Drug prevention coalition celebrates 3 years

The Sauk County Partnership for Prevention has hit its third birthday.

The coalition works to prevent the dangerous use of drugs and encourages the community to pursue healthy lifestyles. It focuses on youth alcohol use, youth vaping and prescription drug misuse in youth and adults.

Common Council approves Brides N’ Belles project, mini storage proposal

Two businesses were on the agenda Monday night for Reedsburg Common Council.

Council members gave their blessings to improvements at Brides N’ Belles. It also scheduled a public hearing regarding new commercial usage on a current residential lot.

Wonewoc Christmas Parade is Dec. 12

COVID-19 isn’t stopping a Wonewoc tradition.

The community’s annual Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 12. Floats will travel along Center Street.
