Loganville Firemen’s Festival promises family entertainment

A decades-old tradition is back in Loganville.

The 44th Annual Firemen’s Festival will be held Saturday, Aug 28.

This annual small-town celebration features a run/walk, parade, food, music, children’s activities and fireworks. General admission is free.

Heritage Day Rendezvous returns to Reedsburg this weekend

Reedsburg is stepping back in time for the local Historical Society’s Fourth Annual Heritage Day Rendezvous.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 27-29 at the Pioneer Log Village on Highway 33 just east of Reedsburg. Admission will cost $5 per person.

Hallmark store closes in Reedsburg

A beloved downtown shop has shuttered after decades in Reedsburg.

The Hallmark store had its last day last week. Owner Peggy Albert announced her retirement earlier this year.

Common Council will review ordinance to protect historic properties
