A Reedsburg family is gathering again for its annual reunion.

The Gudenschwagers will meet at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Loganville Hall. A potluck lunch will be held, and games will follow the meal.

Relatives are asked to bring a gift to contribute to the prize table, as well as a family photo for the heritage book.

A La Valle man suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash that occurred just after 7 p.m. Aug. 1.

According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, the 53-year-old man and his cycle were found on Highway 33-58 in the village of La Valle. Numerous reports indicated he was unconscious and the bike was on fire.

Castle Rock Realty in Reedsburg will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house.

It will begin at 4:30 and continue until 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at the office, 241 Second St.

This event is to celebrate broker and owner Bobbi Brandt becoming the newest member of the Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

Three Reedsburg scholars have earned their diplomas from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

They included Brent Firari, who studied nursing; Gabrielle Gauf, public relations; and Riley Green, electrical engineering technology.

Community First Bank will hold a celebration for employee Becky Peterson to commemorate her retirement.

Peterson has 30 years of experience in the industry.

The celebration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at the bank, 115 Main St.

Several students with local ties have completed their degree programs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Those who earned bachelor’s degrees were Allie Bulin, who studied biology; Morgan Smith, psychology; and Libby Peterson, elementary education (graduated with distinction).

Reedsburg’s Luke Dennison is among the latest graduates from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Dennison took home a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

He was one of more than 1,500 students who graduated, with 1,458 coming from the Whitewater campus and 94 heralding from the Rock County site.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has unveiled its Dean’s List for the spring semester.

A few Reedsburg students accumulated a perfect 4.0 GPA for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County.
