Weston Silver Eagle Foundation elects officers

Officers were elected to the Weston Silver Eagle Foundation during a recent meeting. Elections normally take place in April but were postponed this year due to the pandemic. They include, from left, Sue Louis as president, Lisa Granger as vice president, Jeffrey Even as treasurer and Maggie Landsinger as secretary.

After a close vote, Heights' referendum is a go

On a night where Presidential votes are still being counted as of 3 a.m., the Wisconsin Heights School District has its answer: a "yes" vote for the $27 million facilities referendum. The unofficial results show a 2138 to 1910, "yes" vote, a margin of 228 votes. The 52.8 to 47.2 percent margin illustrates it was a close vote.

Wisconsin Heights starts in-person labs for students

The Wisconsin Heights School District started Middle School/High School labs for students on Monday. These labs bring students to the school to augment their online education. In addition, close to 100 students are enrolled in Student Support Hubs, in-person classes for students identified to be at risk.
