Sauk Prairie School District will be rolling out a virtual model for the first week of the 2021 school year. Students with last names from L to Z will meet three times--Monday, Wednesday, and Friday--and students from A to M will meet Tuesday and Thursday. The District will remain in a hybrid model after the first week.

Weston National Honor Society will help hold a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 15.
The Blood Center of Wisconsin will be set up in the Weston High School Gym, E2511 Highway S, Cazenovia. The Blood Center supplies blood to Reedsburg Area Medical Center and the Richland hospital.
Students in Ms. Crede’s class read the “Great Reindeer Rebellion,” then drew a picture. They got a leg up on life after school be filling out a job application for Santa.

Viking Village Foods customers may have noticed the group of teenagers outside the store Monday night.
Members of the Reedsburg Area High School Science Club were there for a couple hours to collect non-perishable food for those in need. The students donned masks, warm hats and gloves to welcome shoppers and accept donations.
Free wi-fi is being offered at the Ironton-La Valle Elementary School thanks to La Valle Telephone Cooperative.
Users, especially parents or guardians of students, can park within 600 feet of the school building to access the Internet. The network is LaValle_Elem_Free_Wifi.
