The Reedsburg Area Women’s Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship for students who will graduate from high schools at Reedsburg, Weston or Wonewoc.
To qualify, seniors must be accepted into an accredited college, university, junior college or trade school. They must also have a C-grade average. Financial need will be considered.
The finishing touches are being completed on the new elementary addition to the Wisconsin Heights campus, with warranty, systems training for staff, and sitework rounding out the list of things being done.
Students in Sauk Prairie High School’s chapter of the FFA will meet with state legislators and participate in advocacy training on Monday, February 20, 2023 as part of National FFA Week. National FFA Week runs from February 18th through 25th and is always held the week of George Washinton’s birthday.
Bridges Elementary students practice Bridges Everyday Expectations (BEE) to Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Helpful. They are called our BEE Recognitions. Students work hard each day to show our BEE traits and classroom teachers and staff nominate them to receive a BEE recognition at our all school assemblies. Here are the Kindergarten through 2nd grad
Some Kindergarten classes at Bridges voted to have Fort Day as their BEE (Bridges Everyday Expectations) reward. Students had a blanket for quiet time and then built forts during play time. The students had earned 100 BEE tickets for making great behavior choices at school and thus were able to choose a BEE reward.
Merrimac Community School students could not hide their enthusiasm for some hands-on study of animal habitats. Recently, students assembled a skeleton and overlaid the hide to appreciate the size of the largest North American mammal, the bison.
On January 31, the Sauk Prairie Middle School hosted a WISDAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech and Dramatic Arts Association) Middle Level 1 Meet. Eight schools including Sauk Prairie Middle School participated, bringing a total of 106 students and 22 judges.
