Weston plans Jingle Bingo

The Weston School District will host Jingle Bingo and pictures with Santa on Dec. 5.

Santa and his elf will be available for photos from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Guests can then play bingo from 6 to 7 p.m.

The evening will include snacks and prizes.

Reedsburg schools present concerts

The choirs at Webb Middle School will perform on Dec. 1 at the CAL Center.

The seventh grade students will sing at 6, followed by eighth grade at 7:15 p.m.

On Dec. 6, sixth graders will give their holiday concert at 6 p.m. in the CAL Center.

Prairie Ridge fifth-graders will take the stage at 6 and 7 p.m. Dec. 8.

Grand Avenue students hold food drive

Grand Avenue’s Food Drive took place the week of November 7th.  Students brought in food and paper supplies to donate to the Food Pantry.  Thank you to all who made donations.  Here is a photo of Kris Ballweg from the Food Pantry along with students, Easton Weiss, Cora Warner, Addison Schulenburg, Hallie Slaney, and Anna Leaf.

Above the Line

Sauk Prairie Middle School Mathletes compete, Aaron Clement finishes first overall

On November 15th, 26 “Mathletes” from Sauk Prairie Middle School traveled to Wisconsin Dells to participate in the Math Matters Mathematics Contest.  Working both individually, and as teams, students from 15 area schools solved math questions ranging from geometry, measurement, and logical thinking, to probability, problem solving, and estimation.
