The WI Heights High School Drama Club’s production of Mean Girls was a smashing success! Students shared an important message of compassion, empathy, and acceptance with sold-out or nearly full audiences on March 10, 11, and 12, 2023.
Congratulations to 8th grader Isis Hayes Morales on placing third in the Badger State Spelling Bee on March 11 in Madison. Morales qualified for the state bee with a runner-up finish at the regional level.
The March Above The Line theme was “Cooperation.” The students listed below received awards on Friday, March 24, from their classroom teacher or staff member who felt that they are an individual who shows cooperation. Congratulations to these students!

Sacred Heart School teachers and students presented a check to Reedsburg Area Helping Hands. The funds were collected during a freewill offering at the school’s production of “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” They raised more than $600.

A new era begins for Reedsburg Beaver athletics this summer when Aaron May becomes the new activities director at RAHS.
May will replace Bryan Yager, who is retiring from that role at the end of June. May was approved recently, has signed a contract, and will begin his new position on July 1.
Incumbent Gary Woolever will return to the School District of Reedsburg’s Board of Education following Tuesday’s Election.
According to unofficial election results, Woolever won the majority of votes over challenger Shaun Harris. Woolever received 2,610 votes compared to Harris’s 1,479.
