Weston Fifth Grader Ayla Daniels was this year's third-place winner in the Hartje Tire Service Holiday Coloring Contest. Daniels was presented with a $25 prepaid Visa gift card at the beginning of the Elementary Winter Sing program along with a $100 donation for Weston School.

 

The Little Eagle Roundup is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Weston School District.

This session is for all children who will be 4 by Sept. 1, 2023 and 3 by Sept. 1, 2023. Four-year-olds will be screened and registered for 4K while 3 year-olds will just be screened.

At Grand Avenue, the December Above The Line theme was “Responsibility.”  The students listed below received awards on Monday, December 19th, from their classroom teacher or staff member who felt that they are an individual that is responsible.  Congratulations to these students!  

RAHS will offer a slate of new courses starting next school year.

On Monday night, School Board members unanimously approved a proposal to add several courses as options to the high school curriculum.

The Wisconsin Heights new single campus will use renewable energy soon, as the board voted unanimously last week to install a 415 kilowatt solar power system. It will offset 38 percent of the building’s annual electrical usage. Full Spectrum Solar, a Madison company, will complete the installation.

The Department of Public Instruction released their District Report Cards recently, and Sauk Prairie School District notched good scores across the board for last academic year. Overall the District received a score of 64.8, or “Meets expectations.”

A special Elf on the Shelf made an appearance at Merrimac recently.
