No doubt eagerly awaited by school administrators, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s district report cards came out last week and Dale Green, Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, made the board’s night telling them how well Wisconsin Heights did.

The Sauk Prairie School District School Board recently recognized Sauk Prairie Healthcare and McFarlanes Manufacturing for their support of the district’s schools and the role each company played in the earning of a $2.44 million Workforce Innovation grant to advance the district’s programs in Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Medical Career
The October Above the Line theme was “Fairness.” The students listed below received awards on Friday, October 21st from their classroom teacher or staff member who felt that they are an individual that is fair to others. Congratulations to these Grand Avenue students!

The Star News happened to be in the newly redone Sauk Prairie High School LMC (Library Media Center) about a month ago, and Library Media Specialist Stephanie Judge was excited to talk about the new Makerspace. She explained:
St. Aloysius students recently had a fun assembly where they learned they had won a $10,000 grant to learn about financial literacy. The award, the Jackson Charitable Foundation and Discovery Education, Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Contest 2022, was given to St. Aloysius after they submitted a letter for consideration.
Reedsburg FFA Chapter Officers McKenna Murray and Henry Larson recently traveled to Hillsboro Equipment to accept a donation given by Don Slama and his crew at Hillsboro Equipment, Mauston Equipment and Slama's Lawn and Sport to Reedsburg and many other area FFA chapters to help pay for travel to the 2022 National FFA convention.
The Weston School Board recently recognized the Eagle Pride Parent Group and the Weston Silver Eagle Foundation for their support of the district’s schools.
