School district rolls out summer food program

The summer food program has begun through the School District of Reedsburg.

Meals are free to those 18 and younger. All meals must be consumed on site.

The schedule is as follows:

Breakfast only will be served from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m.

The Wisconsin Heights School District hired an interim District Administrator to take the place of departing Jordan Sinz at their meeting Monday. The board has been searching for Sinz’s replacement for the past few months.

SPSD approves land sale

Sauk Prairie School District finally approved its blockbuster land sale and housing development with HC Properties at their meeting on Monday night, voting unanimously to approve the $2.2 million dollar sale. The land near the Sauk Prairie Hospital Campus in Prairie du Sac will be turned into around 350 housing units.

Grand Avenue Elementary held its end of the year assembly on the last day of school, June 7th. Awards were presented for the following: Outstanding Attendance, Safety Patrol, Art Club, Student Council, Chorus, Ukulele and Xylophone Club.
