Sauk Prairie summer school is fun for all grades, even those in between

Sauk Prairie’s summer school future 3rd graders made jellyfish and kites last week during their Creativity Hour with Ms. Jares.  They really had fun creating some very colorful and unique jellyfish and were excited to test fly their kites outside. Pictured is Madelyn Bischoff and her kite.

Sauk Prairie School District starts thinking about roof mounted solar

The Sauk Prairie School Board gave tacit approval to Superintendent Jeff Wright to seek bids for a solar project to be installed on the roofs of district buildings. Wright was backed by a group of interested Sauk Prairie residents who fully support (and at times own their own) solar power installations.

Heights to provide childcare for staff

Wisconsin Heights has decided to go with a roof-mounted solar power system, after a DNR study found the proposed ground for the system is a protected wetland. The proposed installation was to go on unusable ground owned by the district by the Wolf Run Trail.
