Reedsburg marks Wisconsin School Board Week

The Wisconsin Association of School Boards has designated Oct. 1-7 as Wisconsin School Board Week as a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our communities.

Tickets go on sale for RAHS production of ‘Mama Mia’

Reedsburg Area High School’s Drama Club will perform “Mama Mia” this autumn, and tickets go on sale Oct. 9.

The musical will be staged at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 11 and 2 p.m. Nov. 11 and 12 at the CAL Center.

All seats are reserved and will cost $15.

Wisconsin Heights board takes initial steps in Superintendent search

The Wisconsin Heights School Board heard a presentation by Mike Richie from Hazard, Young, Attea Associates, the firm that will be helping them hire their new Superintendent at their meeting last Monday, September 25. Richie spoke at length about the basics of the upcoming Superintendent search, outlining certain aspects of the process.

Sauk Prairie High School Homecoming Parade a treat for all

Last Friday’s Sauk Prairie Homecoming Parade marched out under a clear blue sky on a beautiful day. Everyone was in good spirits and as you can see above, a cheerleader came out to celebrate with some of the District’s younger (potential) students. Weston celebrates Homecoming

It’s Homecoming time for the Weston School District.

The schedule includes a pork feed, a senior citizens breakfast, an alumni block party and sporting events.
