A motorist passed away in a collision in Rock Springs on Dec. 5.

Public accessibility has been limited at certain Sauk County buildings now through Jan. 8.

Doors are locked at the West Square Building in Baraboo and the Reedsburg Human Services building. Anyone who wishes access will need to arrange an appointment.

Main Street Books held a sale in October and November to raise money for the nonprofit. There was also a donation jar set up for participants in the puzzle exchange to give. Additional donors included Ethelee, Pat, Cathy and Tom. 

COVID-19 testing will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the La Valle Town Hall.

To register ahead of time, visit register.covidconnect.wi.gov. When you arrive at the site, bring the QR code or printed email. Proof can be shown on your phone as well.

Registration will also be available at the door.

The La Valle Library will hold a different sort of meet-and-greet with Santa Claus this December.

Appointments will be set up over Zoom for virtual visits. Santa will be at the library on Dec. 19.

Slots are limited so contact the library right away to arrange a time.

The Farmer Angel Network will host I Am the Farmer over Zoom at 1 p.m. Dec. 9.
