Reedsburg United Methodist Church is gathering non-perishable items for the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry.

Containers are outside the church, 833 Third St. Volunteers will periodically check, empty and deliver donations to the pantry. Donors should bag or box their gifts for easy transportation.

The pandemic has again pushed back CAL Center Presents shows.

The board announced that all 2020-2021 shows will be shifted to 2021-2022. That season will begin with Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute on July 30, 2021. It was originally scheduled for Sept. 26 of this year.

The Reedsburg Toastmasters will meet at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 19 over Zoom.

Those who are interested in participating should email Reedsburgtoastmasters@yahoo.com to register.

Sacred Heart will once again have a mobile food pantry this month.

The next pantry will begin at 4 p.m. Nov. 16 in the Sacred Heart parking lot on North Willow Street.

The Reedsburg Area Medical Center Board of Directors recently donated Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce checks to every RAMC employee as a way of saying “thank you.” The checks can be used like gift certificates at local businesses.

As Thanksgiving approaches Reedsburg Public Library has much to be thankful for, and many to give thanks to! Community leadership and support, the Friends of the Library group, and the appreciation of patrons have all helped the library survive and thrive during these unprecedented times!
