After years of struggles with flooding, Rock Springs has cause for high spirits this coming weekend.

The village will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new community center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 2. The address is 251 Railroad St.

Coronavirus community spread stays high in Sauk County

COVID-19 hasn’t let up yet in Sauk County.

According to the latest data from the Health Department, community spread remains high, with 208 new cases recorded between Sept. 19 and 25. As of Sept. 26, the county had 7,190 confirmed cases. The seven-day average is 18 cases.
