Ole & Lena show canceled in Reedsburg

The CAL Center has been forced to cancel one of this season’s shows due to cast illness.

The performance of “Ole & Lena’s 50th Wedding Anniversary & Vow Renewal” set for Feb. 27 will not be held. Instead, the CAL Center will offer John McGivern’s Winter Tales. That show is slated for 2 p.m. March 20.

Samantha Herritz of La Valle took home Semester Highest Honors.

Emily Miller and Reiley Schyvinck, both of Reedsburg, garnered Semester High Honors.

MEP donates to Reedsburg Area Medical Center

Madison Emergency Physicians (MEP) has donated $6,386.65 to the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation. Since the beginning of MEP’s partnership with RAMC in 2016, it has donated $35,467 to the RAMC Foundation. The donations represent MEP’s commitment to the Reedsburg and surrounding communities by supporting the facility and its patients.

Tootsie Roll Drive raises nearly $3,000 for disabled

The Reedsburg Knights of Columbus wrapped up another successful Tootsie Roll Drive.

Last year’s campaign brought in $2,971.43. Funds were collected Sept. 17 through 19, 2021. Donations were accepted at True Value, Quillin’s, Walgreens, Viking Village Foods, Sacred Heart Church and Holy Family Church.

Three local students win scholarships

Three area residents are among students who won scholarships to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Abbey Fuller of Reedsburg, who is studying accounting, won an accounting scholarship.

Brandi Imhoff of Reedsburg, who is studying general management, won a scholarship through the college of business and economics.
