The Sauk County Historical Society still has space for guests to learn more about the Great Ice Storm of 1922.
The in-person presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Sauk County History Center, 900 Second Ave., Baraboo. Registration is required; visit saukcountyhistoricalsociety.as.me/schedule.php to sign up.
Multiple area residents were part of the fall 2021 Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
To qualify, students in the colleges of business, industry, life science, agriculture, liberal arts and education must earn a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Students in engineering, math and science must carry a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Viking Village recently recognized employees who have more than 10 years of experience with its businesses. The total years worked between all these employees is 906. The average term is nearly 22 years per employee.

The Reedsburg Boys and Girls Club now has its own Little Free Library thanks to the Reedsburg Kiwanis. Kiwanis has been a supporter of the Boys and Girls Club since it started and also has consistently been passing out children’s books since the Reedsburg club was chartered in 2005. It supplied the initial books for the Little Free Library.

An annual winter celebration returns at Viking stores in Reedsburg.
Viking Liquor will kick off festivities from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 25. It will feature a tasting with winter-themed samples. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
