Locals are among the additions to Edgewood College’s fall 2021 Semester Honors list.

They include Delaney Horkan and Hunter Van Meeteren.

To qualify, students must carry a GPA of at least 3.5.

Edgewood College is located in Madison.

Gunnar John Drangstveit of Reedsburg was part of the fall 2021 Dean’s List at Iowa State University.

He is a fourth-year student studying aerospace engineering.

Honors students must finish at least 12 credits and earn a GPA of 3.5 to 4.0.

Numerous students from the region were part of the fall 2021 Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

To quality, students must complete at least 12 credits. Each school on campus sets its own GPA requirements, and the name of the list also varies by school and GPA level.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee released its fall 2021 Dean’s List.

It included Reedsburg natives Nestor Caban Hernandez, an information studies undergrad; Jordann Meinhardt, letters and science undergrad; and Luke Rapisarda, business undergrad.

Spenser Greenwood of Reedsburg was among more than 1,000 graduates this winter at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Greenwood received a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

The most recent graduate ceremony included the Oshkosh, Fond du Lac and Fox Cities campuses.

One of the worst storms to hit Wisconsin occurred on February 22, 1922. The freezing rain, hail and sleet, accompanied by lightning and 30-mile-per-hour winds, coated trees and took down power and phone lines.

Throughout February, Reedsburg Public Library, in partnership with the Sauk County WIC program,is sponsoring a Color Your Health: Fruits and Veggies Challenge as part of its Fit Families initiative, which began in October 2021.

Reedsburg Utility Commission welcomed Gov. Tony Evers last Tuesday afternoon.
