Naturally Speaking: Great blue lobelia

Another lobelia is flowering; this one blue, not cardinal red, as was the earlier plant.  Like the first flower, that plant grew best in moist soil, sometimes in flood plains, too.

Cooperative releases top cows through June

South Central DHI has unveiled its roster of best-performing animals through June.

The top Holstein came from Bells Udder Farm in Camp Douglas. O-1403 produced 42,325 pounds of milk that tested at 4.3 percent and 4380 cheese yield.

Carroll runs as third-party Presidential candidate in Wisconsin


Brian Carroll and Amar Patel are running for the office of U.S. President and Vice President, respectively, as members of the American Solidarity Party.

Wisconsin voters will be able to choose from more than Democrats and Republicans in this year’s U.S. Presidential Election.

It has been confirmed that Brian Carroll will be on the ballot as a candidate for the American Solidarity Party. His running mate, or the VP candidate, is Amar Patel of Illinois.
