Judge upholds statewide mask mandate

St. Croix County Judge Michael Waterman ruled Monday to uphold the state executive order requiring citizens to wear face coverings in public places after the case was brought by plaintiffs Derek Lindoo, John Kraft and Brandon Widiker. He also denied a request for an injunction from the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty.

Coronavirus found in mink

Mink at a Taylor County farm have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans.

Last week, National Veterinary Services Laboratories confirmed that dead mink tested at the farm were the first confirmed among Wisconsin’s mink population.

Appeals court overturns election changes
