Older drivers have more time to renew driver’s license

An extension has been granted for certain motorists through the Wisconsin DMV.

Drivers over age 60 may be able to renew online without incurring a late fee through Jan. 21, 2021.

The department made the decision in light of news that older adults are more susceptible to COVID-19.

Pocan quarantined after coronavirus exposure

Pocan reported that his mother, 91, was asymptomatic. He wore a mask in the vehicle when he transported her.

Marklein appointed co-chair of joint finance committee

Sen. Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) was named co-chair of the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance.

He was appointed by Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg).
