Sauk Prairie School District awarded $2.4 million grant to help students get a leg up in working world

The Sauk Prairie School District was awarded a $2.4 million workforce innovation grant from the State of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation last week. The grant focuses on advanced manufacturing, agri-science, and healthcare careers.

Reedsburg School District earns average score on latest state report card

 The Reedsburg School District is meeting expectations, according to the latest report card from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The district scored 65.1 out of 100 points, or three stars to “meet expectations.”

Both the district as a whole and individual schools were reviewed for the 2020-2021 school year.

Weston School District meets expectations from State

The Weston School District has received a favorable review from the State of Wisconsin.

The district scored 67 of 100 points, earning three stars to “meet expectations.” The information was released in the latest district report card put out by the Department of Public Instruction.

Total enrollment was 286 students.

Wisconsin Heights report card: ”exceeds expectations”

District report cards from the state for Wisconsin Heights are in and the district scored high in the rankings. According to District Administrator Jordan Sinz, “[Wisconsin Heights] students performed well on the state assessments that were given during the 20-21 school year.

Merrimac students get to baking pumpkin pies

Second grade students at Merrimac Community School baked pies for the community dinner. Students learned about pumpkins, seeds, and wrote the recipe for pie. They also did some taste-testing to be assured of the quality!

Heights adjusts to expiring mask order from Public Health

With Public Health Madison and Dane County pledging to not issue any more public masking orders after its current one expires in a few days, the Wisconsin Heights School District was left looking for guidance on its mask policy going forward.
