Last weekend for Sauk Prairie Plant Sale

Do you need plants for your landscape, a simple Mother’s Day gift or want to grow vegetables and herbs? Then, you will enjoy this year’s plant sale at Sauk Prairie High School. The agriculture departments will provide you with some of the highest quality plants for the lowest prices in the area! The Horticulture and Greenhouse Management classes are getting a taste of what it is like running a business. Over the last few months, students involved in the agricultural education classes have been tending plants in their greenhouses. The operations have been made possible through the continuous support and efforts of the Wisconsin Heights and Sauk Prairie School Districts along with local supporters. In addition to plants, there are hanging baskets and special arrangements at both schools, and hanging basket wall hangers at Sauk Prairie! Each school has a catalog with plant availability, hours of operation and pricing at: Sauk Prairie: www.saukprairieffa.com/plantsale Prices are $3-$5 for annuals, $2 for herbs and vegetables, $5-$7 for perennials, $7-$14 for shrubs and grasses, $15 Hanging Basket Wall Hangers (Sauk Prairie) and $35 for hanging baskets. There may be some empty pots available for purchase if you would like to plant your own plants! Greenhouse shopping is in-person at Sauk Prairie High School: We will be conducting an in-person sale on May 13th (8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.), and May 14th (12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.).
