SUN PRAIRIE- Bernard William (Bernie) Ballweg, age 76 of Sun Prairie, passed away on Sunday, August 16th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his 2 sons. He fought a valiant battle against the complications of a stroke. He was born on November 6, 1943 in Madison, Wisconsin and was the son of William and Lorene (Baier) Ballweg.
Patricia L. Osterfund, age 86, passed away August 23, 2020 at the Pine Villa in Prairie du Sac. She was born on May 11, 1934 to the late Durlin and Adeline (Leege) Henke. At Prairie du Sac High School she met the love of her life, David E. Osterfund. They were married on Nov. 23, 1951 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac.
BLUE MOUNDS - Joseph Andrew Meier Jr., age 78, of Mazomanie, passed away on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on Nov. 22, 1941, in Madison, at St. Mary’s Hospital, the son of Joseph Sr. and Lois (Hinman) Meier.
Velma J. Ketelboeter, age 82, passed away in the comfort of her home on August 15, 2020. She was born on February 28, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Tacy Bell (Johnson) Duhr. She attended Mazomanie schools graduating in 1956. Velma was united in marriage to Bill Ketelboeter on February 2, 1957. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2020.
Coletta R. (Cruice) Zanon, age 97, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. The daughter of Ferdinand J. and Mary E. (Mlsna) Karl, Coletta was born in Monroe County, Wisconsin. In 1945, she was united in marriage to Joseph Cruice and they were blessed with seven children. Coletta was a member of St.
Steven Manthey, age 42, of Reedsburg, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 15, 2020, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. He was born on February 10, 1978, in Portage, WI, the son of Howard and Marlene (Otto) Manthey.
Stanley J. Raspiller, age 84, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. He was born on February 17, 1936 in Sandwich, IL, the son of George J. an Adele E. (Weiss) Raspiller. On June 15, 1963 he was united in marriage to Linda L. Morphey. This marriage was blessed with four children.
Heaven got a good one today! After a long battle with leukemia and lymphoma, Eddie Nimmow passed away on July 30 at SSM Hospice in Madison. In the couple of weeks before his passing, he was able to see quite a few family members, play cards and go on a pontoon ride (complete with an ice cream cone at the ferry!).
