Obituary: Joseph J. Duren

Joseph J. Duren, age 66, of LaValle, was born on October 3, 1954, and passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Kathleen (Carroll) and two children Michelle (Tom) Henke of LaValle and Joey (Laura) Duren of Cazenovia. He was blessed with five grandchildren.

He is further survived by three sisters Margaret (John) Roloff of Wonewoc, Monica (Dale) Marshall of Elroy, Mary (Ronald) Pyfferon of Cazenovia, and brother Kenneth (Beverly) Duren of Reedsburg.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lavern (Vlasak) Duren, and brother David.

Joe will be remembered by many friends and co-workers he worked with during his 46 years of employment with Seats Inc. After retiring, he continued to work his passion of farming in his “Green Machines” exclusively. However, if he was not operating a John Deere, he would most likely be attending local auctions.

There will be no formal services at this time.
