Women’s Club hosts blood drive

The Reedsburg Area Women’s Club is organizing a blood drive, which is set for March 15.

Doors will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Reedsburg Recreation Center in the basement of Reedsburg City Hall.

Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels

Sauk County’s Aging and Disability Resource Center needs help with its Meals on Wheels program in Reedsburg.

Demand continues to grow, meaning more assistance is needed to deliver food.

The Reedsburg dining site is Cornerstone Church on Abelman Road. It serves about 240 meals per week and 55 people daily.

The next meeting for Reedsburg Toastmasters will take place at 6:25 p.m. March 18 over Zoom.

This group is dedicated to developing and sharing different types of public speaking.

Reedsburg natives graduate from UW-Whitewater

Three locals have earned their diplomas from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Dakota Daniels completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting while Emily Sorenson earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. Olivia Fry graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Scouts collect food for pantry

Cub Scout Pack 244 and Boy Scout Troop 44 will gather non-perishable food on March 13.

Kids will go door to door to collect bagged items for the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry. Donors are asked to have their contributions set out by 8; scouts will begin collecting around 9 a.m.

RAHS Choraliers host Home Show in 2021 despite pandemic
