Library open for walk-in service

As of March 15, Reedsburg Public Library is again open for walk-in service. The library had followed a by appointment model for several weeks, but as Sauk County’s COVID situation improves, it has gone back to walk-in service. Curbside service is still available for those who prefer a contactless pickup of materials.

Demolition begins in Rock Springs

Structures are both going up and coming down in the village of Rock Springs.

Demolition started last week on buildings damaged in the 2018 flood. The Flood Zone Bar and Miller’s Garage were among those coming down, and the community center will eventually be demolished.

Cazenovia, La Valle residents make University of Minnesota Dean’s List

Two local people earned academic honors at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for the fall 2020 semester.

Sadie Keller of Cazenovia is a sophomore studying management.

Alaina Thonn of La Valle, who had no degree listed, is in the college of continuing and professional studies.
