Donald E. Brown 95 of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away surrounded by his family August 27, 2023, in his home.  He was born March 15, 1928, in Willows (Sauk County) Wisconsin the son of Merl and Opal Bangert Brown.  He was a Ford Mechanic for over 50 yeas.

Carl Walter Klein, age 83 of Rock Springs, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 surrounded by his family.  Carl was born May 2, 1940, at the family farm to Walter and Esther (Klaetsch) Klein.  He was the fourth of four children. 

Connie L. Duren Giacalone, age 100, of Ironton, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center surrounded by her family. She was born on August 8, 1923 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Richard Lee and Sara (Gasser) Thornton.

Josephine M. Karstetter, age 88, of Reedsburg, WI, formerly of Ironton, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She was born on February 14, 1935 in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of Issac and Ethel (Shepherd) Small. On December 29, 1951 she was united in marriage to Dale Karstetter.

Our beloved dad, James E. “Jim” Schiefelbein, age 82 of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 21, 2023, surrounded by his four children at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, following a brave battle with dementia. Jim was born in Reedsburg September 20, 1940. He was the only child of Evan and Hilda (Schulte) Schiefelbein.
