Francis “Bud” Brey Francis “Bud” Brey, age 60 of Lone Rock/ Bear Valley, died on July 27, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bud was born September 2, 1962, the son of Francis and Janet (Troxel) Brey in Richland Center. He attended River Valley High School, Spring Green, Class of 1980. He farmed in Bear Valley, moved to Las Vegas, worked for Las Vegas Harley-Davidson and Touro University, Henderson, Nevada, Security Manager, Department of Security for the past 14 years. Bud is survived by four siblings, Bonnie of Lone Rock, Joe of Spring Green, Becky and Betsy, both of North Carolina; nephew Dustin and wife Francia Morris and great-nephew Francis Puse of North Carolina; niece Gracey Morris and great-niece, Brianna Morris of North Carolina, relatives and friends. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Abram Morris. A Celebration of Life Service was held Friday, September 1, at Touro University Nevada campus for administration, faculty, staff, students, close friends and family. Palm Eastern Mortuary/Las Vegas assisted the family with arrangements. Funeral service and burial will be private. Our family wishes to thank the many friends of Bud’s from the West Coast the South, and Midwest who have shared memories and condolences.
