Russell E. Ihlenfeld, age 80, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on July 15, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI, to June (Pflughoeft) and Russell Ihlenfeld. Russ graduated from Granville High School in June of 1960.

Richard “Dick” Earl Fry, age 79, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Our House Memory Care in Wisconsin Dells. He was born on April 20, 1943 the son of Earl and Evelyn (Moore) Fry. On December 5, 1964 he was united in marriage to Barbara Baetje.

Jeanette J. “Jean” Benseman, 76 of Reedburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. She was born December 1, 1946, in Richland Center, the daughter of Robert and Hermana (Plachetka) Stanek.

Jay Patrick Peterson, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2023. Jay was born to Harley Peterson and Mildred (Hemberger) Peterson and was raised on the family farm in Reedsburg, Wisconsin with his siblings.

Elmer J. Hackbarth, age 86, of Reedsburg, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. He was born on November 16, 1936 in Sheboygan, WI, the son of Elmer Gustav Ferdinand and Goldie Emily (Pauck) Hackbarth. Elmer was united in marriage to Gloria Klegstad on July 17, 1962. This marriage was blessed with five children.

Nicholas Rizzio, age 20, of Reedsburg, was a passenger in a car accident on Monday, January 23, 2023, and tragically lost his life. He was born on October 3, 2002 in Reedsburg, WI, with the biggest beautiful brown eyes and the brightest soul. He was the son of the proud parents Patrick M. Rizzio Sr. and Julie (Young) Rizzio.
