Sacred Heart Mobile Food Pantry will not take place next week due to Thanksgiving.
The December delivery is still scheduled for Dec. 9. This time, the drive-thru only pantry will be held at the VFW on Veterans Drive. Anyone in need of food is welcome.
Wisconsin’s gun deer season starts Saturday, Nov. 20, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 28. Hunters will be hitting the stands in pursuit of venison and racks.
Archery and crossbow season already began Sept. 18 and lasts through Jan. 9 of next year.

The Reedsburg Area High School Fall Art Exhibit will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Woolen Mill Gallery. The gallery is on the second floor of 28 E. Main St.

On Tuesday, Gov. Tony Evers announced that $100 million will be given out in the next round of broadband grants. Entities will be able to apply for grants starting Dec. 1.

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held again in Reedsburg on Nov. 22.
It will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Reedsburg Recreation Center, which is located in the basement of Reedsburg City Hall, 134 S. Locust St. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.

An eighth grader from St. Peter’s Lutheran School has won a local poster competition and will go on to the district level.
Newton Butler won the local portion of the Lions International Peace Poster Contest. The competition is sponsored by the Reedsburg Lions Club.
