The average household will receive a credit of $229 on their tax bill, a 38-percent increase from the previous year. The credit is marked as the Lottery and Gaming Credit.

Ten-digit dialing now in effect in Wisconsin

Wisconsinites need to remember to include area codes when making calls, even if they are trying to reach a local number.

The rule went into effect Oct. 24.
