Certain Wisconsin households may qualify for a credit to pay for Internet service.
Those who qualify can receive up to $30 per month to pay for Internet access. On tribal lands, that amount increases to $75 per month. Payments are administered through the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program.

The DMV offers IDs free of charge for those who need one for voting.
Wisconsinites can use the ID to vote in the Spring Election this year if they have no other form of identification, such as a driver’s license or passport.

As of Jan. 15, at-home COVID-19 tests are required to be covered by health insurance plans.
The requirement applies to both private health insurance companies and group health plans, such as those provided by an employer. Tests may be free to the patient or reimbursed by the health insurance carrier.

The Wisconsin National Guard is training members to be certified nursing assistants to help hospitals and nursing homes overwhelmed by COVID-19.
Gov. Tony Evers announced the effort last week. The goal is to open at least 200 beds by the end of February so they can receive post-acute care patients.
