The Wisconsin Heights School District held Closing Ceremonies for Black Earth and Mazomanie Elementary Schools last week. There were short speeches by board members and administration at each ceremony. Here are the speeches:

The Weston School District presented this year’s Celebrate Weston award to Jan Richardson. The award acknowledges people, businesses, or entities that make considerable contributions toward educating students.
Families, friends, district staff and classmates gathered in the Reedsburg Area High School Gym last Friday night to witness the graduation of the Class of 2022.
More than 200 students received their diplomas in a ceremony that featured guest speakers, band performances and a choral number.

Reedsburg senior students will take home their diplomas on May 27.
Reedsburg Area High School’s graduation ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the large gym. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for spectators. Each graduate is allowed five tickets each.
Merrimac Community School and First Grade Teacher Jamie Christianson, have been awarded $2,000 by the Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association (WREA) Foundation. The award was given for the school’s “MCS Community Garden” project.
