SPHS Forensics places 4th at State Tournament

Ironton-La Valle, Loganville elementaries to close after this school year

Reedsburg’s last two rural public schools will close once this school year is complete.

Last week, the Reedsburg School District Board of Education voted to shut down Ironton-La Valle and Loganville elementaries. The decision passed 6-1, with Board Treasurer Gabe Bauer casting the lone dissenting vote.

SP students win scholarships, Harnisch honored

The Herb Kohl Education Foundation announced the recipients of its annual scholarships and education awards on April 6, 2022. Sauk Prairie High School Principal Chad Harnisch was honored with a “Principal Leader” award and high school seniors Avery Leigh and Faith Holler were named recipients of the Student Excellence Scholarship.
