Voters can get ID prior to spring election

The Spring Primary is weeks away and the DMV wants the public to know they can get an ID to vote.

IDs for voting are offered for free.

People can get a voting ID if they don’t have another form of identification such as a driver’s license, military ID or student ID. A federally recognized REAL ID card is not required to vote.

Five millennia ago, on a tall ridge in Freedom Township, a Native American flint knapper sat cross-legged, holding a stone, which he was striking with the nub of a deer antler. As he hit the rock at just the right angle, thin chips split from the mother stone and landed on the ground around him.

State department revokes license for Wisconsin Dells wholesale dealer

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles has revoked the wholesale dealer license for a Sauk County dealer.

Royal Imports Inc., E10704 Pioneer Drive Unit B, Wisconsin Dells, had its license revoked on Jan. 16 for failing to maintain a licensed business facility.

The public can learn more about volunteer opportunities in hospice during upcoming virtual conferences scheduled through SSM Health at Home.

Sessions will focus what volunteers do in a hospice setting. Hospice is dedicated to providing end-of-life care to the elderly and those facing serious illnesses.
