BLACK EARTH - Dale Ralph “Ole” Olson, age 68, of Black Earth, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2020 at UW Hospital and Clinics. He was born on March 13, 1952, in Madison, the son of Ralph and Helen (Ray) Olson.

Winnie Ballweg, age 77, passed away peacefully at Divine Rehabilitation and nursing in Lodi on Friday, July 24, 2020.  She was born to Fred and Eunice (Winnie) Nessler in Baraboo on April 5, 1943.

PINE BLUFF / MOUNT HOREB / MADISON - Miles Monroe Breunig, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on the family farm Sept. 3, 1936, in Roxbury, Wis., the son of Sylvian and Lillian (Nolden) Breunig.

Mary Jane Sprecher, age 73, passed away at St. Clare Meadows in Baraboo on Mar. 28, 2020.  She was born in Baraboo on Dec. 9, 1946 to the late Walter and Erna (Groener) Bretsch. Mary attended Baraboo High School and graduated in the class of 1965.  That same year, she was united in marriage to Paul R. Sprecher from Blackhawk on Aug.

Mary Elizabeth Bawden, age 80, of Prairie du Sac, was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on January 16, 1940 to Rev. Raymond C. and Ruth E. Bawden. She went to her heavenly home on July 22, 2020. Mary is survived by her brother Rev. Paul R.

Lynette M. Diehl, age 98, passed away peacefully at Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City on July 21, 2020.   She was born in Blackhawk on Nov. 22, 1921 to the late Ervin C. and Emma M.

Lucinda Gruber, age 100, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020 at Pine Villa in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. She was born on October 8, 1919 in Denzer, WI. to Florian and Esther Raschein. She was active in Sauk County Homemakers, Sauk County 4-H, Eastern Star, and First United Church of Christ.

David E. Osterfund, age 87, passed away July 13, 2020 at the Pines in Prairie du Sac.  He was born in Madison on Oct.

CROSS PLAINS - Daniel Albert Meier, age 93, of Cross Plains, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 27, 1926, in the Town of Cross Plains, WI, the son of Matt and Christine (Marking) Meier. He married Charlene “Char” (Tourdot) Meier on February 13, 1954 in Belleville, WI. 

Scott R. Breunig, M.D. age 50,  105 Whispering Oaks Dr., Pass Christian, MS passed away Wednesday June 17, 2020 at Oschner Hospital, New Orleans, LA with fiancé Karen and his mother Peggy at his side.
