Eagles send four wrestlers to sectionals

Sauk Prairie had four wrestlers advance through the WIAA Division 1 Baraboo Regional last Saturday. The top two finishers in each weight class moved on to this Saturday’s Mukwonago Sectional. The Eagles had second-place finishes from Colton Uselman at 132 pounds, Carson Saladis at 138, Luis Elizondo at 145 and heavyweight Nolan Vils.

Sauk-Heights swimmers shine at sectionals

It’s been a wild, wacky year in the world of high school sports. It’s also now a historic one for the Sauk Prairie-Wisconsin Heights boys swimming team. The Eagles won the WIAA Division 2 Baraboo/Fort Atkinson Sectional last Saturday. That marked the first time in school history Sauk-Heights won the sectional title.

River Valley boy’s basketball team sees two loses

The River Valley High School boys varsity basketball team played two games last week. Monday night the boys traveled to Adams-Friendship to face the Green Devils. The Green Devils took the lead from the start and the Blackhawks could not catch up. At the end of the first half the score was 14-33 Adams Friendship.

RWD splits 2 games as they look to final week of regular season play

It was a much better performance last Tuesday for the skaters on the RWD co-op boys high school team as they rebounded well after an upset loss to Baraboo in its previous outing. Despite the strong effort, it still wound up as a loss on the scoreboard as visiting Stevens Point left RACA in Reedsburg with a 3-2 win.
