I love the people who have dandelions in their yards! I love the people with a brush pile by the shed and the bird feeders hanging in the trees. I love the people who understand about sharing the earth with other creatures.
In small towns such as Sauk City, residents tend to know one another. Many are neighbors, families, and friends. But when possible nefarious action by a few occur, it is paramount to bring these actions forward for public scrutiny, especially when the public is and/or maybe affected.
There's more to the year 2026 than the 250th birthday of our democratic republic; it also marks the 30th anniversary of President Clinton's disgusting "Citizenship USA" (CUSA) scandal that naturalized nearly 1 million foreigners just in time for the 1996 election.

So far, it's been cool for May, but I'm not complaining. I have read that a super strong El Nino current is likely to make this one of the hottest years ever. Last year was the hottest year so far, and it was buggy and smoky and wickedly hot. Not a year for sitting in the yard sipping lemonade!
This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, which is celebrated each year during the first full week of May. This week of celebration is our chance to say thank you to those that play or have played such a huge role in our lives. Who doesn’t have a fond memory of a teacher who inspired them in some way?
It’s a rather sad process that seems in search of new ways to stratify people. It’s not bad enough we have skin colors and other genetic variances detracting from commonality,. Then, we as humanoids add societal naming standards, adding absolutely no value to the big picture what-so-ever.
