Reedsburg Area Medical Center hosts farmers market

A farmers market is taking place now through October.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Friday at Reedsburg Area Medical Center.

The market will offer fresh produce, canned goods, crafts, baked goods, plants, and more.

There is no charge to attend, and you do not need to be an RAMC patient to visit the market.

Discover stretching at La Valle Library

The La Valle Library, 101 W. Main St., will host a free event to help people get up and move.

Jason Noble, health and fitness coordinator at Reedsburg Area Medical Center, will lead a free session about gentle stretching and bending.

The program is open to all ages and will be held at 3 p.m. May 26.

Blood drive will be held at former school

The Reedsburg Area Women’s Club is planning its next blood drive.

It will be held at 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 26 at the former South School.

Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins will also be welcome. To sign up, call 800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org. The sponsor code is: “Reedsburg.”

Failed referendums trigger school cuts, closures and new funding pushes across Wisconsin

In the April 7th election. Sauk Prairie School District’s $68.4 million capital improvement referendum was defeated by 420 votes, or nearly seven percent, while the $3.2 million operating referendum lost by just 44 votes—less than a percent of the vote.

River Arts hosting summer Exhibition


On view at the River Arts on Water Gallery, 590 Water Street, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578 a new Exhibition, dates May 8 – Aug 1, 2026. There will be a reception Thursday, May 21, 5:30–7:30 p.m. with Artist talks at 6 p.m. River Arts, Inc. invites the public to a dynamic Summer exhibition celebrating three distinct artistic voices at River Arts on Water. On view May 8th through August 1st, 2026, the exhibition features The In Between, a powerful and intimate body of work by Jessica Gutiérrez in the Powder Room Gallery, alongside featured artists Rhonda Nass (scratchboard) and Sharon Wright (embroidery). The exhibition will also be available for viewing online.
