Sacred Heart announces second trimester Honor Roll

Sacred Heart Catholic School in Reedsburg has rolled out its second trimester honors list for Grades 6-8. It is as follows.

Principal’s List

To qualify, students must earn a 93 percent or higher in each subject area.

Students include Sydney Ellett, Victoria Powell, Andrew Schultz and Katelyn Schultz.

Reedsburg school holds open house

St. Peter’s Lutheran School will hold an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. April 11. Admission is free and anyone is welcome to attend.

The school dates back to 1865 and is located at 345 N. Pine St.

Sauk Prairie School District plans to roll out new elementary math curriculum

The Sauk Prairie School District will be rolling out new math curriculum for elementary students, after the board approved the change at their March 25 meeting. Chandra Kulow, Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction, explained that last year the administration looked at the elementary school mathematics testing data, and found gaps.

CESA 5 meets April 4

The CESA 5 Board of Control will convene in April.

The gathering will start at 6:30 p.m. April 4 at 626 E. Slifer St., Portage.

CESA 5 includes numerous regional schools, including Reedsburg, Baraboo, Mauston, Wisconsin Dells and Sauk Prairie.

School Board says yes to server upgrades, interactive panels, debt defeasance
