Let’s have a quick show of hands. Who here in the U.S. feels safer now that we’re killing Iranian schoolgirls? And can anyone tell me what, exactly, Iran has done to warrant American involvement in that country’s endless conflict with Israel? Is nuclear-armed Israel unable to defend itself?

Are you tired of digging? Are you sore from it?

Waking up last weekend with bombs dropping in Iran was unexpected unthinkable and shameful. The death toll as of today is over 1300, and includes 7 American soldiers and many Iranian school children during a strike by the US. Congress did not approve this aggression. Many Americans oppose this war , an unprovoked one at that.

The DNC needs to change its acronym to IHT, “I Hate Trump.” Letter after letter is published by those who allow themselves to be led around by the nose, courtesy of a party now in shameless shambles.

We witnessed the hate/spite from those who refused to applaud when Trump said:

I attended an informational meeting this morning regarding the School District of Reedsburg 2026 Referendum.

Congratulations to the winners of the Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy student essay contests and to all who participated in the challenge. It is refreshing to read about young people's values directly from them, and particularly to read about their emphasis on the value of volunteerism.

I am having a crisis of caring. I care so much that my heart breaks every day. I care so much that I want to stop caring. As a child I cared for orphaned and injured animals. Later, I became a social worker because I cared about children and families.

In the past 2 months, I have been so immersed in the immigration issue and all that is happening with ICE detaining people that, when my February 28th issue of Time magazine arrived, I noticed its cover story was about Minneapolis.
