Black Earth--Frances I. “Fran” (Schlimgen) Michels-Beuthin, age 90, died on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, just four days shy of her 91st birthday. She was born on Sept. 8, 1932, to Arthur and Florence (Goelz) Schlimgen and grew up in Madison, Wis.
Inez Zitlow (nee Yttri), 102, of Chicago formerly of Prairie Du Sac, WI., passed away peacefully on September 7, 2023. She and her beloved husband Vernon were married for 66 years when he passed away in 2011.
David W. Lemke, age 80, passed away on the 2nd of September, 2023 at Heartland County Village, Black Earth. He was born on July 23,1943 to Ode and Eleanor (Radtke) Lemke. He graduated from Black Earth High School and attended two years at MATC. He was employed by Community Publications in McFarland until retirement.
Donald E. Brown 95 of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away surrounded by his family August 27, 2023, in his home. He was born March 15, 1928, in Willows (Sauk County) Wisconsin the son of Merl and Opal Bangert Brown. He was a Ford Mechanic for over 50 yeas.
Gordon Robert Bazsali Sr., 81, of Black Earth, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loved ones on August 21, 2023, at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, following a stroke.

Carl Walter Klein, age 83 of Rock Springs, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 surrounded by his family. Carl was born May 2, 1940, at the family farm to Walter and Esther (Klaetsch) Klein. He was the fourth of four children.
