Study finds liquid brine works better than regular salt to clear roadways

A University of Wisconsin-Madison study has found that liquid brine may be the way to go for clearing winter roads.

The college’s Traffic Operations and Safety Lab found that brine worked faster, provided better friction and reduced overall salt usage.
