A bridge over the Wisconsin River connecting the Great Sauk State Trail in Sauk City to the Walking Iron Trail in Mazomanie is one step closer to reality with a combined $4 million investment from Sauk and Dane counties.
Dane County Executive Joe Parisi and local officials announced the effort on Wednesday, Oct. 13.
