State Patrol asks drivers to slow down to save lives

Wisconsin State Patrol is focusing on speeding this month to improve safety on the streets.

The Patrol says excessive speed is a common factor behind many traffic crashes, injuries and deaths. In 2019, there were 21,813 speed-related collisions in Wisconsin, which resulted in 8,398 injuries and 163 deaths.
