It was a bit of a challenging week for Reedsburg Beaver boys soccer with three matches in five days as the depth and endurance of the squad was put to the test.
Home cooking was in order this past week for the Beaver volleyball team as Coach Sheila Green’s squad was home on Tuesday night and then again for multiple matches on Saturday, hosting a multi-team invite, with more home court action this week.

River Valley certainly has figured out the solution to defeat Prairie du Chien on the volleyball court this season. R-V swept PDC 3-0 for the second time this season last Tuesday by scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-6, improving to 4-3 for the SWC season. Izzy Roth had 13 kills and 2 blocks for River Valley with Josie Mahoney recording 25 assists.
First-year Head Football Coach Tyler McClain of River Valley High School was named as the Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week last week. McClain is in his second year on the staff at River Valley High School and has the Blackhawks atop the SWC Football standings at 5-0 with River Valley 6-1 overall for the season with six straight wins. The Green Bay Packers announced that Tyler McClain of River Valley High School in Spring Green has been named the Packers High School Coach of the Week.
It was a quiet week for the Weston Silver Eagle Volleyball team with only one night of competition, but it included two matches, as Weston squared off with De Soto and Seneca and both were last Tuesday at De Soto High School.
The regular season has been completed for the Reedsburg Beaver girls golf squad with Reedsburg participating in the Badger Small end of season meet this past week at Koshkonong Mounds.
