The second conference victory of the season was the highlight in a busy week of action for the Badger Lightning area high school girls hockey co-op.

It was a busy start to the 2025 portion of the 2024-2025 schedule for the Beaver girls basketball team, playing four games in a span of seven days, with three games this past week as well.

It was a rare three-game road trip in the same week this past week for Reedsburg Beaver boys basketball and the Beavers came away with wins in two of them and picked up the first conference win of the season as well.

There was no home ice this past week for the RWD Miners hockey team as the Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston co-op played three road games in a span of five days with two of them league contests. RWD got a much-needed win at Onalaska in between Badger Conference losses at Oregon and Sauk.

The first competition of the 2025 calendar year was at Ithaca High School last Tuesday for the Ithaca/Weston wrestlers who hosted a triple dual with River Valley and Galena, Illinois.

The Beaver wrestlers have yet to lose a Badger Small dual meet this season and they have been dominant in all four of them as well, including a 61-12 rout of Sauk-Prairie last Friday night on Alumni Night, Youth Night and Pack the Gym Night at RAHS.

Dual meet number two is in the books for this season’s version of Reedsburg Beaver gymnastics as the Reedsburg girls hosted Monona Grove last week at RAHS.
